Hello, I'm inquiring about a new piston and pin for a 1973 VI944, the original part number was A-67989. I have seen other listings for its replacement as A49314. Your listings shows you have an aftermarket piston from sunbelt, I'd be happy to buy the piston if you can show me some sort of cross reference that the piston is the same. Also do you have replacement clutch shoes part no. 67896-1?

Hi, sorry but the only cross reference I have is the fact that the guy that said the Sunbelt cylinder is the same was dealing in Homelite for 20 or so years when he made that cross reference. I may have an old sunbelt catalog that I could check, but that is about all I can offer. As for the clutch shoes, I don't have those at all. Let me check on the piston and get back to you. Thanks.

Dave, i was unable to find my old Sunbelt catalog, but did take some pictures and crude measurements. The pictures are here: parkinlube.com/a-67989-1%20piston.mht the measurements are as follows: Piston Diameter is 2 1/16", 1/16" rings, 1 1/2" from bottom of the dome to the bottom of the skirt. Thanks. Dewayne

Hi Jerry. I will have to check in the parts I am just getting in. I am getting 3 large boxes of parts today and I have 3 large boxes of parts yet to go through. I will check the inventory sheets I have and let you know if they are supposed to be in there. Thanks.

There were two different types on the S-EZ. One had the duckbill under the brass plug on the outside of the cap. The other had the duckbill under the silver plug on the inside middle of the cap. Which do you want? Why are you wanting a new cap? Is it because it leaks gas when you turn saw on its side? If this is the reason it probably is the duckbill that are in these caps. If they are black they go to mush after so long. Let me know and I can supply either cap. May have good used caps with new duckbills for one-half price. chainsawlady

That would be a 95893 Homelite repair kit that includes everything, needles, etc... Or, if you just need gaskets and diaphragms you can use K10-WS. I have the 95893-A kit and can get you the K10-WS kit.
