Parts are a necessity in keeping our Homelites running. RBW and I have been chatting and agreed that some changes would be O.K. I will be moving all the current parts listing into the store with the exception of SCS and CM Small Engines. Members can create a parts listing but replies will be block. Why block replies? Seller lists parts, buyer finds part, buyer sends PM to seller. The seller will not have to closely monitor his listing for replies because if someone finds a part and sends the PM, the seller will see this when he logs on. The rest of us will not see this activity in the 20 most recent. Sellers can modify there posting/listing to update what is avaliable. I will add a Hardware Store chat forum where we can discuss parts or the Hardware Store. This will be open for replies. Suggestions welcome, but let this settle a little first. Craig

XL-76 post holding spring and starter pull chord separated from the frame plate that keeps it in place. Can the post be repaired (welded) or must the plate be replaced? Thanks.

Can you use a small self tapping screw and round the head after you check it for clearance? Even better, drill it and insert a copper rivet?
