I don't know much about these but I know there are plenty of folks out there crazy for old collectible McCulloch saws. This one is over 100cc's. Might be a deal, idk.

Lots of guys around me, love the Macs, dont think theres much meat on the bone at that price, one thing I noticed on Macs was case rot from sitting on the floor, I would think the bar itself would sell for a good price, if you can get it cheap its always worth it.

That's a helluva deal on a near mint 895!
As far as mag rot goes,it doesn't matter what brand it is McCulloch or Homelite. If it's been sitting on a concrete floor the chemical reaction will be the same,it's not prejudice.

I thought it might not be too bad a deal but I'm not a McCulloch expert. I'm not sure how they measured to get 60 inches on that bar and chain though. Maybe they measured all the way around the chain?

I wasn't looking to buy it. I'm not a Mac guy but thought someone else might find it interesting. I mean, if it was $100, I might be a player. But not at 500 bucks!
