Like the subject says, I'm on the hunt for such a chain in good shape. Preferably new, but can of course also be used but in good shape.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah I noticed as I looked online... although my current chain is dull, I think it still has some life left. Time to try sharpening it I guess.

It states in the illustrated parts list that a 1/2 pitch .063 gauge chain works also. Found one on eBay. Got to check the length though, as my bar is 28".

Post up some pics of the chain, you'll be amazed how much life a "worn out" chain still has.

I think you can still get a little life out of it, is that an oregon chain? Post up under the bar & chain section, hopefully undee70ss will chime in with file size & sharpening angles to get you the info you need.

Hmm. 5 / 16 = 0.3125, .3125 inches then. The biggest file I've got is 5 mm (.1968 in). I suppose I need a bigger file... I'll check online. eBay would probably be a good alternative. EDIT: I actually have a chain sharpening grinder made for that purpose, except it doesn't support 9/16 pitch.

I’ll take that back, to sharpen it takes a 9/32 file.

I did some research on my chain, which seems to be a 1/2 pitch .063 gauge chain with about 66 drive links.
