That gasket came from Homelite stuck to the little steel adapter plate, the flat plate with the short neck on it that pokes down in the top of the rubber carb connector boot. The plate/gasket was part of the A-70246-B carb connector kit and was only available in the kit, as far as I know. There's no listing for that gasket in the IPL. Maybe there's a breakdown in a TSB, not sure.
What I'm trying to say is, you'd just as well get started cutting a gasket from a piece of gasket material.

Well, I'll be. Does that part number come from a TSB?
One of the parts stocks I bought out even had a listing for it but inventory level shows 0.

Yeah 70743-A is in the IPL's but the graphic doesn't match. It shows to be an egg shaped gasket, not rectangular. So I didn't figure that was it. Guess I should have googled it and found the ones Leon has for sale.

Yep thats what i did cut my own, must say it turned out pretty good. it was the only thing stopping me from getting it running.
