I recently inherited a XL-12 that my grandfather bought brand new for the family farm a long time ago and would like to know the date it was made. The serial number is 2624478. It's in relatively good condition but with a 7 digit serial number I haven't found nothing about it and am hoping someone here can help me out.

Can anyone tell me what my xl12 information on it. Information im interested on is year. Value. Any info that help . Thank to everyone. ser no. 6c2330119 C- 1981 233- 233th day (August 21) 0119- 119th unit built that day Value varies widely with condition. XL-12 is probably one of the most common homelite produced, so you're not going to get too many collector types interested unless its in mint condition. In my area I see them going anywhere from 20-100 depending on if they run, cosmetic shape, bar/chain installed, etc.
