I recently replace the carburetor on my Homelite 35cc chainsaw, model UT10540A and would like to know the Hi Speed RPM setting to ensure I don't blow up the saw. After a lengthy wait on the phone the assistant gave me her answer in 4 digit ranges. I believe this Hi Speed maximum should be in the double digit thousands. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Do it by ear lean it until it doesn't 4 stroke..then richen it it up until it 4 strokes again. Here is a link to Leon's video on tuning by ear, his channel is a wealth of knowledge youtu.be/glOU3w4nKLM?si=j-gIE2vEpfWT2Qwx

Yep, setting any modern saw to less than 10,000 rpm's max speed is likely going to result in a real dog. I've seen XL-12's turn close to that.
Just set it to 4 stroke, never seen a saw that didn't like that.

But I'm old and wear hearing aids so not sure how well I will hear the changes. The video was fairly clear so I believe it will work for me. Again, thanks.
