Hi, I’m new here and am overhauling 3 Super EZ saws for a friend. Is there an update to swap points and condenser for electronic ignition? If so what coil and module do y’all recommend? Also rebuilding the carbs. What carb kits are the best including the intake manifold gasket? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I'd keep the point ignition system if that's what they have. It's about 100X more reliable than the electronic. The Wico/Prestolite electronic ignition that came out on these saws was the ruination of a fine little machine. It can be done but again, don't.
K10HDC Walbro kit has gaskets and diaphragms to fit either the Walbro carb or Homelite carb, which is also a Walbro. Intake gasket is 65016 Homelite part number.
Anything else, ask away. There's plenty of us here with lots of SEZ know how.

If you want to eliminate the points & condenser it can be done by using a chip, which is easy to install. The ignition chips can be found on eBay or Amazon for around $15-$20.No other parts are necessary to convert it to electronic.

Thanks for the advice! I can find points and condenser parts but having trouble locating or identifying what coils will work in the s-ez. Are they available? Also looking for the air filter. I have 3 super EZ’s that I’m rebuilding for a good friend. Thank!!!

Are the coils missing? They were pretty reliable, can't imagine if they're there, many of them would be bad, if any. Usually points and condenser fixes the old SEZs up just fine.
But if you need a coil, you just need to identify the system as Phelon or Wico. Phelon coil is 68256, Wico coil is 68716. There's still some around but they could be pricey.
