Hi, I have this XL model with UT 10656-A. Serial HM3190263. Looking for parts list to repair / rebuild fuel and oiler systems. saw runs great, just quit oiling. Appears duckbills are gone and hoses are squishy.

Stihl model ms170 uses duck bill valves in fuel tank. They will work. One as tank vent and one on end of the impulse hose. Will require a small piece of copper tubing to put it on the end of the hose.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH USING A SMALL PIECE OF COPPER TUBING IS IT DOESN'T HAVE THE MICROSCOPIC HOLES IN IT LIKE THE ORIGINAL TUBE DOES FOR RELEASING TANK PRESSURE.YOU'LL HAVE TO RERLEASE THE PRESSURE AFTER USE BY OPENING THE OIL CAP.TRY LOOKING IN THE BOTTOM OF THE OIL TANK,CHANCES ARE THE DUCK BILL AND TUBE ARE IN THERE.I WOULDN'T USE A STIHL DUCK BILL AS THEY'RE MUCH SMALLER IN DIAMETER.HOMELITE DUCK BILLS ARE READILY AVAILABLE ALL OVER.

Homelite number on the duckbill is 69451. Google it and you'll see lots of them. And just like Ed said, the connector is probably in the bottom of the tank. It might be stuck but it's almost always in there.
