My latest SEZ is without a chain.I have a couple new chains that are 60 DL,but they're too long.Is the chain supposed to have 56 or 58 DL?

I’m surprised the 60 won’t fit. I’m about 99% sure that the Oregon chains that I’ve bought for my 16” bars were 60. Possible the bars you have are different than the Windsor style I have 🤔

I have the bar & chain that came with the saw.The bar is OK,but the chain was seized in several places.I sprayed it down with Deep Creep & worked most of it free.I put some heat to 2 stubborn spots & forgot about it for 2 days.Yesterday I worked it again & got those 2 spots to free up (mostly).I put the chain on the saw loosely & started the saw & ran it a bit with the oiler.I had to back the chain up manually a couple of times, then rev the saw up & it freed up nicely. The chain was a new chain when someone let the saw set.I'll see about getting pics of the saw on here.
