Looks like I need two of the bronze plugs and maybe 4 duckbills for a super ez and an ez that I just purchased . Where is the best place to look?

If the saws still have the bronze fitting in the caps, then they're still good to reuse.I believe Leon has the duck bills, don't know if he has the bronze fitting though.EBay wants an arm & a leg for them.Chainsawlady had some & Brent bought her parts, maybe check with Brent. If all else fails PM me.

I buy mine on Ebay. Just look up 69451. I haven't got that load of parts all sorted and catalogued yet so no idea what all is there.

Brent bought her parts, maybe check with Brent. If all else fails PM me. Who is Brent? I would love to know if anyone ever got control on what bars she actually had. Years ago 70SS actually went to her shop and helped me locate 4-5 bars I bought from her. I would love to know if she had any more GW24 or 25 inch bars.

I recently was gifted an XL1-AO and noticed after fueling and oiling up that.
When I put the oil in it was at night and cool and I filled it full. The next day it sat in the sun for a bit before running it and when the oil expanded it leaked under the oil cap and onto the top of the saw.
Also when my gas tank is full, if I tilt the saw forward 90° with the bar pointed down or onto its side like I would for felling, that it leaked gas also from under the cap.
Can I replace the gaskets on the caps or do I need new caps?

I just watched a video on how to replace the Duck Bills. Seams easy enough. My gaskets on the caps don't appear to be any worse than the saw used in the video so they are likely fine.
Are the Duck Bills the same for both the oil and fuel caps or are they different parts? I mean can I buy 2 of them to fix both or need 1 each of different size or what not.
Any idea where I could seek finding said Duck Bills or I can carry out the repairs?
Lastly if I'm careful not to leak gas am I hurting the saw to run it while waiting on the parts? Edit: I just found the Duck Bill thread for info on finding them. Also found the parts in documents and they are the same part. Thanks for the help
