Fresh batch of restored bars, thanks to SC for the stencils, the 20" has a bad dip in it so I decided to do a different finish on it since its just a wall hanger.

Looks great! I may have to do this for the saw I am restoring. I haven't done a bar yet. Any tips or tricks?

Only tip I can give is preperation, the more time you spend on that, the better your results, I been cerakoting firearms for over 17 years now, since its a bake on finish there's a little different process than paint, but the prep work is the same.
First do all your bar work, file the rails & true them up, then let it soak in acetone or denatured alcohol for a few, clean scrub and repeat till all oil and grease is removed.
Once all degreasing is done, I use 180 grit sand papper to clean all pitting or discoloration, when your happy with what you have, use a 320 grit to finish sand( remember long even strokes from end to end) I count how manny passes then turn the bar 180 and repeat to ensure an even sand.
When your done sanding, soak it in the acetone or denatured alcohol again to remove any particles. Let it air dry then in the oven it goes at 300 degrees aka gass out, this will get all the reamaining oil and grease from the bar, when you see it seep out, allow it to cool slightly and soak it back in the acetone or featured alc, repeat till no oil is present, when bar is cool do not touch it with your fingers, wear gloves and have a clean work surface, apply stencils from sugar creek, then do the coating of your choice. I use cerakote bake on finish USMC Red, they also sell an air dry finish if you dont have an oven
Note: do not use your kitchen oven to cure in.
