I am needing to replace the clutch side crank seal on my C-52 and am having a hard time finding one. Does anyone know of a cross reference for the original seal? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah it's been sometime since I've been on here. It's definitely good to be back, life got really busy with high school, graduating, and now attending college. I'm sure it will become very busy again in a few weeks. I'm currently enjoying the holiday break and have been messing with some saws and cutting some firewood. It's been nice getting a bit of downtime and being able to tinker with some old homelites, it's something I haven't been able to do in well over a year. I really enjoy running my C-52, it can get a bit heavy at times but it cuts great. I've found the part number for the seal but am not coming up with much for it, so I'm going to try and find a cross reference for the seal. Good hearing from you!

I love the old C series. That is what got me started restoring saws. I restored my Dad's C7 as my first saw. I currently have a C5, 52, C7.71, C9. Love running the C52

Does anyone know whether or not a Garlock GAR 92.113 seal or anything cross referenced to it is available anywhere online ? It seems like I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find one. It is the seal that was used in the C-51 thread listed above.

CR (SKF) 7414 ... is an alternate that should also work. Seal size is: .750" x 1.125" x .187"

I really appreciate you posting those part numbers. It should be the last part I need to get the saw back running again. Thanks everyone for all the help on this.

Nice job done by all. Glad to see that a couple more C series saws are saved for future years. I too got the bug to own a C series and ended up with 3. They are a lot of fun to run.

Does anyone know where I can still get that gar 92 -6113 seal? I could not find at motion. Im not familiar with that number but I was just researching seals for C series myself. If Im reading correct the 56256B would be an SKF 7414 and the 58308B would be SKF CR6130. Can anyone confirm this before I order? Kind of scared of the aftermarket no names.

If you search, in this thread, for member mack2 posts, he has great information on seals. He listed a chart on them. I think undee70ss made it printable. Will see if I can find it or maybe undee70ss will. Hope this can help. OEM was a Garlock 58308 for f/w side & 56256 for pto side.
