Does anyone have any recommendations for points ignition lube for the rubbing block/felt? It is impossible to find ANY lubricant for this purpose at any local sources. They look at me like I'm from Mars asking for it these days! It has been recommended by some to consider dielectric grease, but I know that is a non-conductor for electricity if it should get between the points somehow. Since it isn't exactly easy to get to the points on a chainsaw, I'd like to not create a problem! What do you service guys recommend?

I use this. Had the tube for years, and it'll probably last for 100 more years. Only takes a little. Dan

Last points cam lube I got was from NAPA. I have had it a long time like Dan but I believe they still sell it. The felt can be lubricated with engine oil, just a drop as Ed said.
