I found a C-71 recently which stood for many years in a shade. Meanwhile she’s in good shape an runs very well but ... no oil. Why? Something got stuck in the manual oiler. If you try To push the knob of the oiler there is absolutely no movement, even with good force behind. Is there any chance to get access to the mechanical part? I took already the fuel tank off but that doesn‘t change the situation. Any ideas?

I'd have to say that the oil that was left in the oil tank turned to sludge. You can take the manual oiler plunger out & spray in some PB Blaster,WD40,or something like that & let it sit.You might also want to fill the tank at least halfway with kerosene or diesel oil & see if that will help to dissolve the blockage.Another thing you can try is to put air at the opening on the bar pad after it's been through the kerosene soak for a while.
