All righty, put my 330 back together with the usual, carb rebuild, carb boot all new tygon lines, fuel filter, she starts and runs GREAT!Accept no bar oil,ok,refer to Leon's video[you're the BEST!]but alas just a smidge of oil, take the pump apart, the piston is seperated from diaphram, tap it back in couple of times,no dice,is it a common problem or am i lucky,is it time for a new diaphram, shame is it was plyable.

Quite a few of us on here (myself included) have had oiling issues with the 330. I watched Leon’s video as well and primed the pump as instructed. However, it still took running the saw and mid-high rpm for quite a while (several minutes) before I finally got the oil moving through my system. Obviously you will want to either do this without the bar/chain on or make sure to lubricate it well manually. I know others have not been so fortunate, it seems the 330 is plagued with oiling issues.

I don't remember exactly how the diaphram and piston connect, but I would attempt a repair. NOTHING I tried could fix my oiling problem and I gave the saw to another member. I replaced oil line from tank thinking the seal into the tank was bad, pump gasket, my diaphram was pliable also, and I gave up...which isn't usually like me. (Must be getting old..:-) I wish you success, and you determine what it is that makes these oilers SO bad...
