This was the second Homelite I bought back last December. Did not run. Needed a lot of tweaking. General stuff for the most part. Oiler gave me lots of problems! I realized after getting it running back a few months ago that the saw had a bad air leak. A total tear down ensued to replace the crank seals and resealed the crankcase and engine. I was a bit unsure if I would be successful with sealing . Using RTV silicone seemed a bit of a gamble but it’s holding so far. This is no heavy hitter by any means, but I could cut with this saw all day! It’s a blast! It’s got a great sound. I probably should have turned off the video after two cuts but I was having some fun. youtu.be/9B0FO8D6udQ
