Hi All,I bought this blue EZ on Feebay back in early March & didn't do anything with it until today. It has a born on date of one week before Christmas (12/18) of 1970.The carb was in pretty rough shape with a lot of dirt & old varnished fuel.I ended up putting a different carb on it that was already rebuilt to speed up the process. The original carb I put through the ultrasonic bath twice with Seafoam.I have no idea if the carb will be any good.So I put the other carb on & within a few pulls it fired right up.It oils nicely & has a 16 in.bar & chain on it.I love these little EZ's for limbing, they're light, but they pack a lot of power.I had to borrow the drivecase cover from my other blue EZ for photo purposes as the saw came with no drivecase cover.I've been looking for the blue & white one to no avail.

I had another blue EZ that I've had for 2 1/2 yrs.I had a hard time getting spark on it,but I was finally successful with that yesterday.Today I put a couple of different carbs on it before I got one that was a good one.The born on date on that little blue devil is the 262nd day of 1969,almost 51 yrs.ago! I need to put helicoils in the muffler bosses.I was so happy to hear that saw run after having it on my "to do" list for over 2 1/2 yrs.I'll get some pics of it on here, but I need to locate some parts first - air filter cover & drivecase cover are on the list.

Today I put helicoils in for the muffler screws on the blue EZ.I also found a black air filter cover that looks good on it even though it originally had a blue one.I was impressed when the saw fired on the first pull.I know I have a drivecase cover on another saw that had no paint on it.I might be able to put the finishing touches on the saw tomorrow.
