I’m slowly collecting parts for my next saw project. I have two super xl-922’s. Both have different UT #’s. I plan on combining the best of the two saws but would like to know if there are any major differences in the two saws. They both appear to be the same, but there are always differences when the UT#s aren’t exact.
Can someone point me into the right direction for model specific information based on UT #......if it exists.
Saw #1: UT 50182 Saw #2: UT 50047
Any information would be appreciated.

I don't think any of the Terry ipl's have UT's on them. I believe some had the three piece ignition and some had the one piece module. The back plate that holds the bearing, seal and ignition may be different. I'm not sure. Alternate seals are National 253737 or SKF CR 6120 or SKF 6119. Same seal both sides. Same seal that's on the FW side on your 130. If yours has the 3 piece ignition it pays to pull the flywheel and check the wires on the module under the flywheel. Sometimes the insulation is frayed or they are broken and usually are easily repaired. The carb on both should be a Tillotson HS-151B. Tuning bulletin attached as it's an oddball. Check the throttle shaft on the carbs for excessive play. Worn shafts will make tuning difficult if not impossible. I know Joyce had spare shafts at one time. Tune in wood on the high side as the carb has a governor.

UT:50182 ..( what's the SN .. don't have one on the List yet ) , is included in the Super XL-922 IPL 10-83 78520 . Most Terry IPL's are dated, so, based on when a model was manufactured, will indicate which revision number to use ... of course we don't have every single IPL produced .

Looks like the last number may be missing due to a damaged label. T830006...6? This is the one that will get the heart transplant. Most everything else is still intact. Looks like it sat on concrete for awhile after it was roasted thought. Bottom of the handle has some corrosion. She needs some love for sure.
