I just got this saw today for the collection. It runs good and is in good shape. My question for any of you Homelite experts is regarding this tag: I do not recall seeing "Terry" on a tag before, and I guess I was not even aware that these saws were built in Canada. Any way to date the saw from these numbers? I have been looking for info on the history of Homelite with miserable results so far. Anybody know anything about any of this? Thanks in advance, Eddie

The Terry Tag means it came from Canada. All saws that was sold up north had the Terry Tag.

I didn’t realize you could get a Canadian built 925. Thought Terry saws were all 902 and 922.
We’re those 925 82cc?

Originally all 925s were 82cc,then there was a problem with some saws overheating,so they redesigned them & dropped them down to 77cc.I have no idea how many ccs mine is,but it pulled a 28 in.hardnose with a 3/8 full chisel like it was nothing.

Someone said the exhaust ports are a good indicator.

All oval exhaust port 925's are 82cc. Square port could be 77 or 82cc. Saws with UT number ending in C are 77cc if still original.
