I have two super e-z 's I just rebuilt, both carbs were also rebuilt, both saws start and run strong. The problem is, after they have been run a while then shut down and let sit for a couple hours the air boxes collect about a tablespoon of fuel in the bottom of boxes. Any thoughts why this is happening ? Would cracking fuel cap help ? Thanks, Tucker

The problem is in the carburetor...the inlet needle is leaking for some reason. There's a few possibilities: the inlet lever is set a bit too high, the needle is bad or the spring is a bit weak and needs stretched slightly. If you have a pressure tester, you can pressurize the carburetor and check for leaks before it's back on the saw.

Could be crud under the needle, preventing it from seating. That might indicate a damaged or missing fuel screen.
