hello need some help i am working on a red homelite xl12 it draws fuel into carb / has 120 pounds of compression and has spark but i cant get it to run thanks also when i try to start it and pull the cord 6 of 7 time the plug get wet so i know there is fuel getting to the plug

The compression is a bit on the low end,but should still be enough for it to fire.From what you're describing I'd say your spark is weak.Have you cleaned the points?(I'm assuming this is a points saw) I had the same issue last yr.on a red XL-12.I ended up putting new points & condenser in & it solved my problem.You might want to opt for a chip though as the condensers out there are getting to be rather old & not very reliable anymore.
