I went out cutting earlier on the big ash that we dropped last April & we took the XL-923,SXL-902,& the Remington Super 754.All of these saws had never been in wood befpre. The 902 still hasn't only because it has a 20 in.bar on it & this ash is so big that I had to come in from both sides with a 30 in.bar on the Remy & a 28 in.bar on the 923.The 923 doesn't want to idle quite right & it'll stall out, then if I try to restart it it won't start when it's hot,but it cuts great when it's running. The Remy 754 is going to need the carb to be rebuilt. With only a few cuts we still managed to get a load of wood with what was left there last month when we cut there last. There are about 6 more cuts to make to finish on the tree & that'll be at least 2 more loads.I'll get the farmer next door to come over with his bucket tractor & scoop up the giant logs & place them gently on my trailer. We got some rain 2 nights ago & it made the pine needles a bit greasy.Coming up the hill in the forest we got stuck,so my son walked home & got his 4 wheeler & pulled me free.Thank goodness we got the 4 wheeler running last week!
