Just joined. Have a Homelite Super Mini SL I won in a raffle in the early 1980's. Still runs and cuts like heck. But......of course I haven't found the manual for it for years so I've taken a chance and used a swamp mixture for the fuel. I'd love to use the correct Gas/oil mixture yet cannot anywhere on the internet find a replacement manual or any info regarding this saw. Is it that rare?? Any help would be appreciated. Going to try and post pics of the saw. Thanks!

That saw is basically the same as a super ez automatic. I believe the factory recommended a 32:1 mix ratio. You should be fine running a 50:1 ratio using modern premix oil from stihl etc...

For snow blower. Instructions say 50:1 for NMMA oil. Is Homelite NMMA certified or should I use it at 32:1?

40:1 or 50:1 should be fine with a good quality oil like mentioned for sure. Ran all my old saws at 40:1 with Stihl ultra with no issues yet. They get ran on VP racing 50:1 for storage.

I run pretty much any 2 stroke engine at 40:1 unless I’m breaking in anew pistons and rings. I increase to 24:1 for the first tank or two. Probably not totally necessary but I do it anyway.....
