I'm working on a 450 that I found. It has stuck rings. To b on the safe side I have a new piston and ring set along with pinion and bearing all in same kit. I also am replacing connecting rod, and crank bearings and seals. What is a good formagasket sealer for the 2 halves ( lower and cylinder). Also, does anyone use a good assembly lube? Any help is greatly appreciated

Hello, I'm currently using Threebond 1184 for such tasks. Just use the same high quality 2-stroke oil that you use in the fuel mix as an assembly lube. Nothing safer for a 2-stroke. Good luck. Steve

Yes, normal high quality oil is fine for assembly of two strokes. 4 strokes with their cams and gears are much more in need of special break in lube. 2 strokes do not have those parts and their associated high surface loads.
