hi everyone, I've had a very hard time finding bars to fit the 450, 650 and 750 that are longer than 24 inches. Any help would be very greatly appreciated 🙏

I'm pretty sure that Archer makes a 28 in.bar & chain combo for around $70,but I'm not sure if it's the bar mount pattern you need (D096 or D196).Sometimes if you shop around on Ebay you'll run into a deal.

You can make a large Husky mount D009 bar fit with a little work. File the adjuster holes upwards so they open into the bar channel and you're good to go. It only takes about ten minutes to do both holes so you can flip it. You are basically making a D096 mount by doing that. A chain file is a good file to use.
You can get those bars up to 40 + inches. I've made them work for a variety saws.

They are hard to find and used ones can be questionable. You can also use a large mount Husqvarna bar. Has to be modified a little bit.

Must also used the Husqvarna drive link count when using a Husqvarna bar.

Must also used the Husqvarna drive link count when using a Husqvarna bar. Yep, I have a small engine shop close by who will make custom chains. All he has to know is pitch, bar # and link count which is normally on the bars. If not he will look it up by the bars serial number. Thank you again everyone

I've made them work for a variety saws. Reviving this old thread to add my comments and experience. I have a 550 with a 30" solid nosed bar which I have been using for 'Alaskan' milling. I have a couple of felled trees that are too big for my 30" bar so needed something else. Via this thread I found that a D009 bar can be made to fit, so I set about finding something suitable. I ended up with a 36" Oregon 363rndd009 bar but then also needed to buy a new sprocket, chain and file & guide at the bat was .404 and all my 'old' kit was 3/8". I couldn't go any larger with bars else I'd have needed a new Alaskan mill as well.... Once it had all arrived, I set about seeing what needed to be filed to make it all fit. Turns out, the slot where the 2 fixing bolts go through was too slim by about 1-2mm max. My chain tensioner fitted in the adjuster hole and seemed to be in roughly the right place. A quick go with my diamond 'files' (flat diamond plates about 2" x 6") and a few trial fits (filing in between each time) and it now fitted over the clamping bolts. Reassembly commenced and fortunately the chain tensioner WAS in the right place. TL:DR Filing the bolt clamping slot by about 1-2mm max was all that was needed.
