I have a homelite zip start model # UT20703 and I need directions on how to adjust the settings for it to run and start correctly

I don't have the exact carb settings but if you start with the needles about 1 to 1 1/2 turns out, you should be able to get it started and work from there.

A Homelite UT:20703 is an "Easy Reach" String Trimmer .. UT# last built in 2000.

Yep, "Zip Start" is no relation to the zip chainsaw that I am aware of Like sweepleader said, generally 1.5 turns out on high and low is a good rule of thumb for most carburetors as a starting point for adjustments. You may need to tweak from there. If you're not able to get to run well with the adjustments the cvarburetor may need to be cleaned / rebuilt. It looks like rebuild kits are readily available online.
