My Dad bought this new in 1954. I can't find another one anywhere. Google for hours. My Dad would run this for hours. It sure is heavy.

I have seen pictures of that style before. Until I did I thought the XLBC with the XL-12 motor was the first. There was a version with a gear head the same as the XLBC as well as the curved shaft.

Hey nice saw. Certainly isnt as old but I have a 7-19 here with a brush cutter on it not sure on the exact model of the cutter but it looks similar.

That is a fascinating piece of equipment. I wonder how quickly one could go from cutting brush around a tree to felling said tree with the same power head.
