I have a bucket full of homemade seal installers/removers and bearing drivers I've filed away over the years.
Looks like a bucket full of junk to anyone not familiar with such.
Also big tool box of bearing pullers, some homemade.

Yes I have to admit I am guilty of this, different size pipe nipples, steel 3/4" nipples as xl130 said ,are great on seals, to pvc, exhaust fittings .one of the handiest is a 1/16" stainless heli arc wire shaped to a tiny hook ground down flat , to pull things from ugly places, including crank seals that get into crank cases...fuel lines , I am sure most of us have a few. of these custom creations
