I've got an EZ saw that's Phelon.Can I change it over to Wico.I know I'll need a Wico points box,points,condenser,coil,& flywheel.I have most of the Wico parts already.I'm having a difficult time finding a Phelon coil & core. Ed

Leon, (or anyone) is the coil bracket the same for those two? I think it is.

I believe they are too Dan.What makes things difficult & can be confusing is if you lay a Wico & Phelon coil with core in it side by side you can't tell them apart.There are no markings or #'s on either one (to my knowledge) that would help to identify either one.It's very important to mark at least one of them to prevent a mix up.The same goes for the points.The condensers & flywheels are clearly marked.

The funny part is the IPL shows the core as a separate piece on the Phelon ignition, but the Wico coil comes with it installed!
