Good looking saw! I've worked on a few, nothing special comes to mind...probably a carb kit, fuel hose and cleaning the points will have her running!

well i finally got to do the initial go over on the 7-19 needs a carb kit and fuel lines. needs the cylinder pulled and the piston cleaned up a bit nothing bad but it might get bad if it isn't corrected. spark is good all the bits are there except for the starter cover and the exhaust cover. and it did bark and run on a squirt of fuel. I figgured i was gonna have to pull the cylinder so i ordered gaskets from leon already. So i'm off to order a carb kit and plug. just wanted to give an update

So Leon, you gonna tell him about the warpage that comes up on this carb now and then? Or the fuel inlet plastic? Or your video's on this thing? :{)

Well no reason to discourage anyone until the situation comes up! All I can say is the HL carbs should be pressure tested after a rebuild to check for leaks in all the places you mentioned!

don't worry about discouraging me. I have most of a machine shop I rebuilt myself. most problems to me are a challenge. i'll be sure to do a pressure check on the carb and crankcase before i try a start.

well it's been a month but i finally got into the carb on this one and it's good news there no real issues everything looks good just needs diaphrams. it does need a new base gasket on the cylinder. already had ordered a replacement from leon so it's lookin good.
