I had posted that I was given the urge to check out an XL-98 from another post about a saw that the crank wouldn't rotate through a full revolution. It made me remember that I had one that wouldn't rotate. I suspected a backed out crankcase screw and that's what it turned out to be. While I was at it, I decided to make a runner out of it. I made it a 14" setup instead of 12" with an arm and front handle from a later version. I also used the later muffler and shield and air filter assembly. youtu.be/MfQFBUxhDDA
