hello I am finishing up a 360 had to replace the cylinder did that I have 150 pounds of compression I have spark I rebuilt the carb and pressure tested it and it hold pressure great also replaced fuel line and impulse line and the intake boot so I went to fire it up and nothing . I poured some fuel down the carb and it ran till the fuel ran out then I noticed its not pulling fuel from the tank . anybody have any ideas thanks

I'm assuming that you replaced the intake boot or at least checked it over thoroughly? How was the carburetor base gasket?

I put a new boot on it ...so today I replaced the intake gasket and its now pulling fuel but now wont start even put some fuel down the carb going to let it sit maybe it flooded out ..... question what the typical compression for this saw to fire ? thanks

Normally one of these that won't fire on a prime has a bad ignition, but since you already had it running... Hopefully tomorrow it will start!

well working on another one ( 360 ) got it to pop but my question is I put a test light on the transformer mount to test spark and when I pull it over it does light up the test light but only at the end of the pull is that where it is supposed to fire off or sooner in the pull and if its supposed to be sooner how do you fix it thanks
