I recieved the saw yesterday. The first thing I noticed was how small and light it was.
The blemishes were well represented in the pictures posted by the seller.
The compression seems less than I expected. I will pull the muffler when I get a chance.
The bar is in good shape. No signs of overheating.
I work long hours so I wont be able to work on it until next Wednesday at the earliest.
Overall it looks pretty good. I only have about 40 bucks into it so far including shipping and sales tax.

Maybe this link will work better?
Nevermind, it was the same link.
If you click on the "see original item" button, it should take you to the listing.

Dripped some 2 stroke oil in the cylinder. Let is sit and pulled it over a few times. Good spark. What the heck, a little gas in the cylinder and she fired and ran!
Can't wait to get it in some wood!

Put some fuel in the tank, primed the carb, a few pulls later it was running. It even idles.

Put the bar and chain on. It oils as it should.
Seems to run great. I haven't even adjusted the carb. Made a few cuts too.
Need a duck bill as the gas cap leaks.
Also, the decompression button works, but it doesn't seem to hold the throttle open for starting. Is it supposed to?

There is an adjustment screw, visible with the air filter cover removed, that controls the amount of high idle with the de-comp/throttle-lock button pressed.

Thank you for the fast reply!
I will look for the adjustment screw.

DOM; Wednesday, August 27th, 1969, unit 187What do you mean by "not on the last year built UT listings"? Homelite published UT number lists that identified the model name and when it was last built. The lists are incomplete with gaps between some of the numbers listed. +UT:10107 ( EZ-Auto ) fills in one of the gaps between *UT:10104 ( EZ-Auto ) and *UT:10112 ( XL-Mini FP )
It's what makes it a significant find.

I really like this little saw. Mine has a 12 inch bar. It has been very handy for pruning and light work around the farm.
Heading out now to finish up pruning a Honey Locust.
Looks like a toy with its red and white paint, chrome muffler, and 12 inch bar, but sounds and cuts like a chainsaw should.
