Ed you are correct, the terms you and the seller reach are no one else's business. I didn't take the previous discussion as a jab at you...rather a general discussion about how Ebay tends to heavily favor the buyer when something goes wrong, no matter how/what/why the problem occurred. Leon,I didn't think you were taking a jab at me with your post,I know you couldn't lower yourself to such standards.I got what you were getting at in your post about how the buyer is favored moreso over the seller.I just don't appreciate being accused of "taking advantage of the seller".(not by you) Ed

I was looking at the IPL for the Super Mini & noticed that it doesn't have the metal line that loops over the flywheel & goes into the fuel tank like on a SXL-925,& then another Tygon line attaches to go into the fuel tank & the air box.I noticed that there wasn't a steel line on my saw as well.Is this sopmething that we can do without? I was going to rob one off one of my parts SEZ's & I picked up the SEZ that had a plug hanging out of it.I figured"oh what the hell,I'll check to see if it has spark. It had spark,so I put some fuel in the carb & it fired up! Now I've got another project saw.Lol It needs a few parts to make it a saw again - bar plates, bar & chain,& drivecase cover.I know I've got those parts from the SEZ that I got given to me last spring. I got the carb put back on the saw today.I had a late start so I didn't get much accomplished today.I also put a new fuel line in that gave me fits.First I put a 1/4x1/8 line in the tank,it had a nice snug fit, then I tried to put that same line into the air box to no avail.I found a smaller line that fit into the air box just right, but had a sloppy fit into the tank.I'll seal up the tank grommet with some Seal All.Lastly I had a helluva time getting the fuel line onto the inlet barb on the carb due to me having a problem with depth perception.I had intentions of putting a fuel filter on too,but my supply in the garage was out of the size I needed.Tomorrow's another day. I fueled up the Super Mini & pulled on the recoil about 10-12 times. Finally I had enough & gave it a shot of fuel in the carb.It fired right up & kept running. It revved up nicely & idled nicely too.I shut it off & restarted it with no problem.I shut it off & put some oil in the tank & put the air filter & cover on.Then I went to start it again & it will not start no matter what I do.I tried priming it again to no avail. It has a new NGK plug in it & I checked for spark,it has plenty of blue spark. The compression is good too.It should've at least fired with the prime I gave it,& I didn't flood it or foul out the plug. This saw has me baffled. Sounds like it could be flooded to me. I would not prime an even slightly warm engine. I try without the choke first, either it starts or it will not pop. If no pop, it gets 1/2 to full choke depending on how warm it is. If it pops, the choke comes off and next pull it starts. That is of course they way I want it to happen, not the case every time but pretty close.
Let is sit a couple of hours or pull the plug and crank it over a half dozen times. Replace the plug and try the above, no choke at first, listen for a pop.
2 strokes are such fun!!

You need to read my last sentence.I know how to start a chainsaw,I've been running them for over 45 yrs. When I checked for spark the plug was dry,so it's not fouled out.If this comes across as nasty, sorry it's not meant to be that way.
Edit:I just went out to the garage & followed these steps just as I did before:switch on,decompression valve locked with throttle pin, choke on,1 pull & saw fired right up.I shut the saw off & restarted without a problem.I don't understand why it wouldn't start earlier. Now I'm even more baffled.Maybe it's because I was performing an autopsy on it's cousin, the SEZ?Lol Ed Ed

I bought another Super Mini & got it in the mail today. It was missing the drivecase cover & the bar plates & clutch & drum.I've got all kinds of parts from my seized SEZ's that'll fit right on over. The saw has no spark either,so I'll have to pull the flywheel & check the points & condenser.I've already eliminated the switch & re-gapped the coil.
