I bought this little cream puff a couple ofdays ago.It looks to be in fairly good shape, the only missing thing I could see is the button for the manual oiler.I didn't pay the price that's posted on the link.It should make a nice little limbing saw. Ed

That is the only drawback, but with free returns it isn't so bad.I think she does free returns because of the fact that she doesn't know jack about saws.I did contact her & ask her to ship the 2 saws I bought together so I might save on shipping. She did actually respond back to me saying that she'd do that & refund any difference.I was totally surprised. Now I can't wait to see how she puts the 2 saws in one box without taking anything apart.Lol Ed

It will be interesting to see if she uses packing material or lets the two saws "buffer" against each other, ouch.

I thought of that later.Maybe I should've just let her ship them seperately.Although the last saw she shipped (the 902) she did pack around the rear handle so the saw was kinda wedged into the box.The first sawe I bought from her was just thrown in a box & taped shut.I sent it back with the bar & chain off & lots of packing around the saw. I messaged the seller today that I wanted to return the saw because it has a broken rear handle & has low compression.I wasn't looking to keep the saw,or even a refund for that matter, but she made me an offer I couldn't refuse,so I'm keeping the XL Super Mini. The first thing I did was pull the muffler cap & look at the piston & cylinder. They both look great with no scoring.I didn't like the plug that was in the saw so I put a good used plug in it & checked for spark.I put some fuel in the plug hole & it fired.I put more fuel in the carb throat & it ran till the fuel was gone.I'm wondering if I can possibly JB Weld the rear handle & get away with it. I can't tell for certain from the pic, but that looks like the normal seam between the throttle handle and the throttle handle cover?

I'm sorry Ed, the pic is fuzzy enough I can't tell what part of the handle I'm looking at.

All of my SEZ's have a split down the center as well, but the crack that goes off to the right is not on any of my SEZ's.As you can see it opens up quite a bit.The handle is not stable.I;m afraid if any down pressure is used it'll break. Ed I just went out & looked at an SEZ I have & it has the same "crack".I see now that the handle is made like that & I feel like an idiot for never noticing it before. My apologies gentlemen!

Ed, I’d at least give it a shot with JB weld. I have a lot of faith in the stuff and have made some miracle repairs with it.
I’d probably use a triangle file to bevel the edges, make the surface area as big as possible. Make sure to keep it warm while it cures and let it cure completely- I’d say minimum of 3 days. With a little luck you can pry paint it and have it look acceptable too.

Thanks Rowdy, that crack is just a little bit wider than I'd like, but maybe it's there for a reason too.If it was a solid piece handle it might break more easily.I guess that's their "anti-vibe".Lol Ed

I took a chance today & put fuel in the Super Mini hoping it'd fire up.Fat chance that'd happen for me.Lol I figured I'd change the fuel filter & try again.I've never seen a fuel line that was plastic & acted like it was a metal line, stiff as a wire.I had to use the heat gun to get the line pliable enough to come off the inlet barb on the carb.Once the line cooled it was hard as wire again.I've got to go into one of my parts SEZ's & get the metal piece of line that goes over the flywheel & into the fuel tank. It's been a while since I've rebuilt an HDC.That was the first model carb I ever rebuilt.Anyway, hoping with a carb rebuild,a new fuel line,& fuel filter & I'll have a nice little runner. Ed, This is another ignorant eBay seller that I find irritating. Seems to have a lot of "estate" find saws? Yeah right. Anyway, I was interested in several of their saws not that long ago and attempted to acquire some addition information and despite several attempts, all I would get back was silence. Man that just pisses me off. These type of people shouldn't be allowed to do business on there. Good luck.

Steve,I agree with you 100% about not being allowed to sell on Ebay.I look at it this way - as long as this seller provides free returns it doesn't bother me.Of course it seems to bother some other members here & I'm a no good so & so because I'm "taking advantage of the seller".I don't see it that way & I sure as hell don't have a problem sleeping at night.I know what I'm doing is right, the seller is happy & so am I for the most part.I think what the seller & I do is between us & is no one else's business. This is in no way directed at you Steve.Just venting.

Ed you are correct, the terms you and the seller reach are no one else's business. I didn't take the previous discussion as a jab at you...rather a general discussion about how Ebay tends to heavily favor the buyer when something goes wrong, no matter how/what/why the problem occurred.
