Thanks for posting pictures of the ID tags, much appreciated ! This one was added to the Homelite-Terry UT List on October 5th, after I contacted the seller: Tom K. Congratulations on a beautiful and not very common saw ! The others are very nice too !

All three of these saws were previously on the list with differnet serial numbers, now these numbers replaced the previous info. Just wondering why?

This one +UT:50174 , was added to the Homelite-Terry UT List on October 5th, after I contacted the seller: Tom K. All three of these saws were previously on the list with differnet serial numbers, now these numbers replaced the previous info. Just wondering why? No, these numbers haven't replaced the previous ones, the originals remain on the list. +UT:50168 ( XL-26cc ) SN:D8100396 .. provided by undee70ss , was added March 8th , 2019 *UT:50173 ( XL-1- SL ) SN:D8100528 .. fossil's , was added August 13th , 2018+UT:50174 ( Super XL-AO SL ) SN:D8200012 .. was the first one I found that had an ID tag or one that was legible.
UT numbers with an earlier build year will be added to the list.

5terrysupersaws, over the next few days I’ll try to look through my collection and see if I have any UT numbers not on the list yet. As for my user name I have a GN and several T-type Regals but no GNX.

Those saws in black look kind of sinister, love it. Is anyone aware of when Duramark first marketed a Homelite product? In my opinion, they picked 3 great model lines for the general public. Thanks for sharing this information and pictures.

Thanks for sharing this information and pictures. "Duramark" trademark application was filed: Tuesday, December 23rd, 1980. Production commenced in 1981. There was at least five models available ; Duramark 10 - XL-26cc with a 10" bar Duramark 14 - SUPER 2 with a 14" bar Duramark 14 - VI-SUPER 2-SL with a 14" bar Duramark 16 - XL-1-SL with a 16" bar Duramark 20 - SUPER XL AO-SL with a 20" bar

Sweet, another UT# for the list! UT# 50174, Serial# D81 00372
That saw also answers a question I've had...those are red parts that were repainted for the Duramark colors.

Interesting that The Hudson's Bay Company was incorporated in 1670. The oldest incorporated company in North America still operating.
They operated as a fur trading company for a long time. I believe they sold the fur business back in the early 1970's. They were awarded 1.5 million square miles of land in the Hudson's bay drainage area for trapping. The company rejected an offer from the US to sell the land for $10,000,000 in 1869 but declined. HBC eventually controlled trading over 3 million square miles
The T. Eaton Co. a long time Canadian department store also sold rebranded saws. Mostly Remingtons. The T.Eaton brand was TecoMaster.

I'm from Quebec, the homelite-Terry and Duramark chainsaw were made about an hour from where I live.
