I recently acquired a Homelite chainsaw. I have to admit that I don’t really know much about them. The seller told me that it’s a Super XL130. Looks like it has seen some action. Rough looking and filthy. Seeing how’s it’s probably nearly 50 years old none of this should be a surprise.
The restoration bug has bit me and I’ve started to tear it down and clean it up and bring it back to life. I’ve never rebuilt a saw before but what the heck. What’s the worst that could happen? Blow a bunch of good money and it learn something new and have a bit of fun doing it? 😜
I noticed that the clutch cover is probably not original and it very badly damaged. Does anyone what models are interchangeable for clutch covers with a XL130? The automatic oiler lines seem to run close to the cover and a notch must be factory made to accommodate them?

I'm guessing that is a 130 due to the 6 shoe clutch. I looks like the oil line was replaced by a larger diameter line.
The cover you have is the correct one.
The pic below shows the correct routing for that line. The line you have should be Ok as long as you can bend it.
You should replace the cover over the clutch shoes if you don't have it. The hole in clutch cover was caused by the two screws holding the cover on the shoes backing out. That seems to be a common occurrence. Blue loctite is your friend on those screws.
Pic of the cover on the clutch attached as well.
Other than an XL-76 cover which will work, I don't know which US sold models of that line will work.
Where are you located?
