I have a Homelite XL chainsaw I'm repairing. I have the carburetor off and want to clean and rebuild it, but the manifold to the input of the engine is "stuck" on the carb.
In order it is carb - gasket - manifold - gasket, and I am hesitant to pry off the manifold and gaskets from the carb, because I might damage them. It's a Walbro 48A carb.
What do you recommend, remove gaskets/manifold or leave them on?

Welcome to HOH!
I recommend leaving the intake attached...I've cleaned dozens of carbs that way and there's nothing that will be damaged.
