Thanks! I believe it was the Bay Blue, Clean White and Clear Vision from Prismatic. It was a little light for this model saw but, it was good enough for me. Since this one, I think I'm going to try another color on an EZ soon. Can't remember the name of it right now. I'm finishing up an early model blue/white Homelite 150 now and (to me) it's the perfect color for that one. Order a bunch of their samples...it will help you color match your project and keep you from ordering the wrong color down the road. I'm half color blind anyway so don't judge by what I think is best, lol!

Wow, that looks GREAT! Nice job! Is that just the hot orange or did you apply a clear? I cannot wait to do one that is just one color. Thanks for posting pics of that color. I am been having a hard deciding on what color best matches the red. I too was looking at the orange colors as well. Can't wait to see your SEZAO!

Yes sir that is just the color no clear coat... The Hot Orange is a high gloss so it really didn't need a clear coat although I am now looking into clear coating over vinyl decals and have been reading a lot of forum board posts about it.. I will let you know how it goes.

I suppose you used a powder spay nozzle that causes a positive charge on the powder when spraying and the part is negatively charged. Where did you get the powder coating tools?
Your superior results are flawless! Really worth the effort!

What a beautiful job! That saw would be the envy of any Homelite Collector. Have you looked into Eastwood Auto powder colors?

Excellent job! I might be persuaded to go with a Powder coat in the future for collection grade saws. I will be interested in hearing about the adhesiveness of the powder coat on these aluminum Magnesium alloy carcasses over time/ rough field use. I know powder coat is a good coating if applied/baked properly which it appears you have done. However, fixing paint scrapes/chips is fairly easy in a few minutes. What are you thoughts about repairing powder coating should it get damaged?
