was using my 360 the other day and it thru the chain now it seems like something wrong it does start but does not run as smooth as it did before engine wise could it have messed up the bearings ?

My first thought would be to check the drive links of the chain. Sometimes when a chain comes off, a section of drive links will get burrs on them, maybe 8-10 links, and as the chain goes around it makes a cyclic growling noise.
Did you check the chain over for damage before you reinstalled it?

I can't imagine how throwing a chain would have damaged anything in the engine. Could you elaborate a little more on the not running smooth? Is it like a misfire or more like vibration?

If the saw has an S-clutch, one half could be broken and rattling around in the clutch drum. I have seen that a few times....

If the saw has an S-clutch, one half could be broken and rattling around in the clutch drum. I have seen that a few times.... Yeah that broken S clutch will make a noise and vibration. I forget about that because they were just on the early 360s.
After I posted about the chain, I also thought about the sprocket. Maybe a broken spur or drive rim. Could be why the chain flew off.
