This saw came to me not running, I replaced the fuel line (it isnt right but it works for now while I wait for grommets from Leon) cleaned and gapped the points, added a good bar and chain and she runs and cuts quite nicely The only problem is the oiler. It is very hard to push and very slow to refill, it does work however. Where should I start to look for the problem? youtu.be/ja21OJdXNxE

I would take the bar off and check the oiler hole for restrictions and bar plate orientation. If still hard to push the oiler with the bar off go back from there.

Something else you can try Kevin is to dump out the oil & check the oil pick up (I'm sure you've already checked it).Fill the oil tank with kerosene or #2 fuel oil (diesel) & see if it'll pump freely.Another thing to do is pull the manual oil plunger out & put kerosene in there as well, put it back together & see how it works. It sounds to me like there's sludge in the line somewhere or you've got a weak spring. If the kerosene doesn't work, pull the check valve(s) off and clean them out with penetrating oil / WD40. Sometimes they get sludged up and stuck.
That 102 is in beautiful shape Kevin.

Yes,Tim could be right as well.I thought of this last night after I'd made my post.I had an SEZ that gave me the same symptoms.I pulled the check valve & put a different one in & it cured the problem. Ed
