Welcome to HOH! I'm afraid parts availability is only going to get worse...it's now been at least 20 years since any were made and in some cases double that! Do you still have the adapter bracket on the cylinder? If so you can use one of the options outlined above or the A-94111. Those original blue coils can be finicky, but they pop up new and used on Ebay fairly often.

The Canadian models like yours can be difficult to match part numbers up as well. There always seems to be tons of OEM parts available for the US models which often can interchange but not always. Definitely takes some investigative work and research through the IPL’s.
Luckily it doesn’t look like you need to replace much of anything on that 76 though. The sprocket and drum can be a bit tricky though.
Nice job on the coil. I’ll possibly be doing the same some day. Any chance you Cousy are a picture of the mounting?
