I have a dilemma on how to remove the car on this saw. On other saws you can remove the 3 screws on the reed valve and everything comes off. I just do not see any way to remove 3rd screw closest to the handle on the bottom. Was wondering if I removed the tank could you take the carb off with just removing the 2 nuts holding it on the reed valve. Also are there any repair kits for this carb? There is a part called a plunger at the bottom that has a spring. Should you have to press that or do you leave it alone. I am at a loss thus far.

UPDATE.......... Ok if anyone ever ask my question I have the answer. You have to take the handle off the saw. Both sides and that will allow you to access the lower right screw on the reed valve. I took the carb off and was as careful as I could be with all of the gaskets. I did not see any trash in the carb but took all of the screws out and cleaned everything I could with carb cleaner. The float appeared to be ok but I took it off also and sprayed cleaner all in that passage as well. Put it all back together and it fired right up on the 2nd pull, but only ran a couple of seconds. It would start back up but the same issue. Just a couple of seconds. I seam to be making progress, but it is slow going. Any ideas what ton try next shoot them this way...................... I have both the main and low speed out somewhere in between 1/2 to 3/4 turns out.
