I was going to replace the fuel hose that runs from the carburetor to the barb on the fuel tank on my c5. The hose was much larger than any size I've dealt with. Does any know what size tygon hose would work?

What I do in a situation like this is take the entire saw to the hardware store & let them match it up.Of course you could just take the old line off & have them match that up. Now as far as putting the new line on,I found that removing the rear handle assembly & feeding the line through the hole for the hose, then attaching it to the barb is the easiest. When the handle is off you'll be able to clean the underside of the handle & the cylinder fins which are normally not accessible. There are only 7 screws to remove & unplug the switch wire. You might want to take the recoil off & clean that too while you're at it,just don't apply any oil to the recoil assembly. I just popped the fuel lines off my c5 tonight. There are 2 different pieces of fuel line. If you take the whole tank of, which is only 4 screws you will find a nipple on the bac side of the tank. It may be a little tough to get out but there is a smaller fuel line inside the tank. I used a heat gun on hight and heated the tank around the nipple and unscrewed it with a 5/16 deepwell. The large line goes right over the top of the carb.
