Hi Joyce, The kit for my first super2 worked great. I set the hi and lo 1 turn out and I hardly needed to adjust it at all. My second super 2 has a walbro HDC 48 A that looks like it even has a manufacture date of 5/76 on it. The problem is I can't tell if the H speed idle jet is broke off, or its a plug? Have you ever heard of this? Where the carb would only have a L and not a H? I have no idea how to post a picture from my phone but I'll try after posting this. Hope you are doing well. Kevin

Those don’t have a hi mix needle, the hi is fixed. There is only a low mix and idle speed screws.

As Undee70ss says, they were made like that for a time. One of mine manufactured the same year is that way as well though mine is an HDC-27 made a touch later in 11/76.
