Stumbled on this recently. Never seen anything like it, for a chainsaw anyway.
Wouldn't work worth a dam on my property. Would hit a softball sized piece of granite every 1.5 inches and a boulder ever couple feet. Almost makes me miss living in the flatlands. Almost.

I have never seen anything like that either! But I kind of want one. I have similar issues around here with the rocks.

I can imagine you'd need to clean the air filter pretty often. If you had a saw dedicated to that job may be worth looking for a more substantial filter like on an XL-98

My back hurts just looking at the video. The one that was auctioned a while ago that had wheels on it seemed like a much better arrangement.

The company that made those is long out of business, but I’m looking for one.

That is cool. I'm putting a 12X40 garage on my WV property. I need to run power about 120' from the pole. I think I'll just let my BIL use the Yanmar back hoe.

I'll bet that thing is a handful. I doubt I have enough ballast in my breeches to run it.

It’s probably not as bad as one would think as it’s used on the ground.

That would have made the sprinkler systems in my lawn so much easier to install!
