I suppose this is as good a place as any to ask where to find impulse hose/line for the saws that require it.I've been told that Tygon line doesn't hold up to the heat.I saw some on CM Small Engines a little while back, but when I did a search it came up with no results. Ed

You could use a larger diameter of tygon around the proper size one to act as insulation? Or maybe heat shrink as insulation?

Use the yellow fuel hose sold just for that purpose. Its clear so you can see fuel inside. Or sometimes the factory hose is available on line, I find it hard to trust that as there seem to be so many counterfeiters around these days. Regular Tygon does not like fuel. Silicone is not generally good for fuel either but may be OK for pulse line. Heat is not that big a deal for fuel or pulse lines if they are routed similar to the way the factory did it.

I've been told NOT to use Tygon line for impulse line because it doesn't hold up to the heat, but now that I think about it,the same Tygon line is used for fuel & it's right on top of the engine just like impulse line is. Ed

Thanks Rowdy! I found the same stuff on Ebay & I get twice as much for half the price + free shipping.I don't shop on Amazon much because most of the time it's got shipping charges,I'm not a prime member. Ed
