Possibility a large generator or pump. Number on connecting rod is for the needle bearing I guess.

Yes ...send a picture of casting number inside piston..i have a nos one here i will.compare to when i am back in shop. Scott

Scott Scott, I removed the rod and there is no casting number. It has thrust washers and two roller bearings in the rod small end.The pin diameter is the same as a 1050 piston. Thanks.

The orientation of the pins are in the center of the piston between the pin holes.In the first picture they are barely visible on the skirt thrust side.

I'd have to agree about it being a 2000 or 2100 special. I check the 900 series gear drives and they are all 2.31 lol
