I'm looking for a handle mount bracket,part # A-70289-A.This is a SXL-925 part #,but it's the same thing. Also looking for a decompression valve lever.I have no part # for this because I can't find it on the IPL. Ed

What IPL are you looking at? Lever is part number 65630, theres one on ebay...

I was looking at the two IPL's on Leon's site.I bought one of the many mount brackets that were on Ebay.Some of them were quite ridiculous in price. Ed

70289. Handle bracket...these were the parts you requested in earlier post. I took picture with both parts included.. If you only needed the decomp lever 5 shipped.. Sorry about the confusion Scott

Yeah,it's confusing because I've got two different threads going for the same saw.Lol I've got the Parts Needed thread & the other thread "I just bought an SXL-923".I knew that I'd posted on one of the threads that I'd just bought the bracket on Ebay.Could you tell me if there's anything that goes on the end of the decomp lever to make it depress the decomp valve?Oris the lever the only thing that is used to depress it?Thanks. If you mean does the lever physically attach to the valve as far as a pin or screw no... It has a shovel type flat end that will apply pressure to the valve to open.

That's what I needed to know Scott.That "shovel"end is what's snapped off on the one that's on the saw now.I don't understand how that got broken off,the decomp valve stem is depressing freely thereby opening the valve.I don't see how it'd be possible if the saw kicked back while trying to start it when the valve is open. Ed
